Ability Fest is a one day festival brought to you by the Dylan Alcott Foundation & Untitled Group that aims to use music as an inclusive platform to normalise disability. Launched by three time Paralympic gold medalist & seven time grand slam winner, Dylan Alcott, Australia’s most inclusive music festival is held at the Coburg Velodrome, known better as Melbourne’s favourite concrete donut.

Ability Fest was born by Alcott due to his love of music and his desire to use his foundation to change the lives of young Australians living with disability. Last year, Ability Fest did just that, raising just shy of $200,000 for Alcott’s foundation.

These funds are used to help young Australians with disabilities fulfil their potential through their grant program.

In 2018 Ability Fest was headlined by Flight Facilities, Client Liaison & Tkay Maidza.

In 2019 they’re lining up The Presets & Hot Dub Time Machine to do their thing.

The Coburg Velodrome will be transformed into a completely accessible venue with the inclusion of elevated platforms, pathways, quiet zones, companion ticketing, ramps, stacks of friendly volunteers & of course accessible toilets are a priority of the Ability Fest team.

Prepare yourself for a warm Sunday afternoon amongst friends where everyone who wants to be there, can be there. Local food trucks & creative vendors will line the pathways and attendees will be treated to experiences across two stages. Special guests include some furry friends from Guide Dogs Australia & some comfortable areas & novelties from ANZ.

We want to thank you for supporting a cause very close to both Dylan & the Untitled Groups’ heart. Being part of a festival like this is a money can’t buy experience as we all band together to make an impact & change lives.
