Australian Doctors International (ADI) Inc
Australian Doctors International (ADI) sends volunteer doctors to very remote places in PNG that others don't, providing healthcare services where often there are none.
We recognise that remote PNG communities carry the burden of health inequalities with restricted access to healthcare services. At ADI, we work to actively redress this inequality.
- We treat people with leprosy, malaria and tuberculosis.
- We train healthcare workers in emergency obstetric skills to help save mother's lives.
- We partner with local providers and upskill isolated frontline healthcare workers
- We support the most disadvantaged and vulnerable people in the community including women, children and people living with a disability.
