Alzheimer's Australia Vic
Alzheimer’s Australia Vic is Victoria’s peak body providing support and education to people affected by dementia. Their role also includes policy and advocacy, community education and facilitating dementia research.
They support people affected by all forms of dementia including Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, Lewy body disease, Frontal Temporal Dementia, and mild cognitive impairment, no matter what age.
Each year over 25,000 people access their services which include: education courses, community seminars, counselling, information through their library and website and programs such as the Memory Lane Café and the Living with Memory Loss Program.
Founded in 1983, Alzheimer’s Australia Vic is a leader is risk reduction, dementia policy and services. Their vision for the future is that one day we will live in a dementia free society.
